All prices are valid while the products are displayed on the Cerema website.
1.1 Prices for our products are shown in Euros including VAT, but excluding shipping costs.
1.2 The publisher reserves the right to change their pricing at any time. However, products are billed at the price shown when placing an order. The same rules apply to delivery costs.
2.1. Ordering books, maps, and CD-ROMs
2.1.1. Online orders are placed at www.cerema.fr. You must make a customer account before you can place an order, including for free products. You can access your customer account using the email address you provided when creating your account, along with the secret, personal password you set. Do not share the login details for your customer account with any third party. Cerema is not responsible for any action taken through or on your customer account. You can download paid digital products as soon as our teams have confirmed your order and received payment.

2.2. Software and IT app orders
Please see the terms and conditions for the software or app you are buying.
Our products listings are valid as long as they appear on our website, and while stocks last. As such, you will receive information about product availability when you place your order. If it turns out that a product is not available after you have placed your order, you will be informed immediately and your order will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
4. Delivery & Shipping
Orders are processed within 2 or 3 working days from the date they were placed and payment received. We use the post office or a courier for all of our deliveries.
If you are paying by credit/debit card or bank transfer, the delivery timeline is generally as follows:
4-10 days for orders in mainland France
7-20 days for other destinations

5.1. Payment by credit/debit card
Card payments are completed using a secure HTTPS protocol. You will be redirected to the secure Ingenico website to complete your payment.
5.2. Payment by bank transfer or administrative order
By bank transfer in Euros, all banking fees are at the buyer’s expense. The order is processed as soon as the transferred funds are received.
Administrative orders are only available to the French government and local authorities.
5.3. Payment deadlines
Cerema does not grant any discounts. Payment deadline: 45 days following receipt of invoice. Any delay in payment will, as of law and without notice, incur late payment penalties calculated at the ECB interest rate plus ten (10) points, as well as a late payment recovery fee of €40. As stipulated by article 192 of French decree °2012-1246 dated 7 November 2012, relating to the GBCP.
Payments made via our website are completely secure. Your credit/debit card details are never visible on our network.
6. Exchanges, returns, refunds
6.1 - Exchanges
If the product you receive is broken or otherwise faulty, we will undertake to provide a replacement while stocks last, or to issue a refund, subject to the product being returned to us in its original packaging with invoice, within 7 days of receiving the package. Return postage fees will also be refunded in full (up to the value of standard shipping), and the exchange completed as soon as possible.
6.2 - Cooling-off Period and Right to Return
In accordance with article L 121.20 of the French Consumer Code, customers have the right to a cooling-off period. Within 14 days of receiving their product, they can return it for any reason, simply by stating the reason why (subject to the product being returned in its original packaging and accompanied by the relevant invoice). Beyond this 14-day period, the delivered products are deemed to be compliant with the order and accepted by the buyer. The cooling-off period does not apply to software, paid downloads, or CD-ROMs unpackaged by the customer.
6.3 - Refunds
Refunds are paid by administrative order within 30 working days of the date on which the returned product was received. Cash on delivery will not be accepted for any reason.
The customer explicitly agrees with these terms and conditions, as well as the prices, and acknowledges having read and understood them in full. By confirming their order, the customer accepts these terms and conditions. Cerema may modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice.
8. Applicable law, disputes
This contract is governed by French law. The French version of this contract takes precedence over any translation. Only French courts are authorized to settle any disputes.
9. Intellectual property
Cerema’s publications and software constitute original works protected by intellectual property legislation. The purchase of paper publications, CD-ROMs, paid or free online documents, and software does not transfer any exclusive ownership rights to the buyer: all of these products are strictly for the buyer’s personal use.
Any other use, namely printed or digital reproduction, adaptation for presentation or sharing with third parties, as sold or in the form of derivative products in any format, using any technical procedure whatsoever, must have been the subject of a written request for Cerema’s permission, sent to Cerema - bureau des ventes - 2 rue Antoine Charial, CS 33927, 69426 Lyon Cedex 03, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Failure to obtain permission will be considered as counterfeit and will be liable for prosecution under articles L.335-2 and L.335-3 of the CPI.
10. Personal data
We need your personal information to manage your order and our sales relationship. We may share your data with companies involved in these relationships, such as those tasked with carrying out orders and services, for use in their management, execution, processing, and payment.
This information will also be stored for safety reasons, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to help us improve and customise the services we offer you, as well as the information we send you.
