Research at Cerema enables it to back up public policies with a role as mediator to not only enrich expertise through new scientific and technical knowledge at the highest level of the state-of-the-art but also to facilitate the conversion of needs observed in the field so that they become new subjects of research.
Contributive research
Almost 500 personnel mobilised to varying degrees. At Cerema, people working actively in research also participate in other types of projects: expert appraisal, studies, standardisation.
Integrated multi-disciplinary teams
Cerema brings together project teams to work on formally defined scientific projects. This structure takes account of Cerema’s research and innovation priorities, including the societal challenges raised by ecological transition.

An appropriate PhD student programme
